Contents
1 Brief Introduction
The ecosystem, Indikin, aims to accelerate the way indie filmmakers are financed and their productions distributed, providing a decentralised and inclusive platform for investors, filmmakers and their audiences.
The native token $INDIKIN has been designed to efficiently facilitate value capture and delivery to investors, filmmakers and their audiences throughout the fundraising, production, and distribution stages.
Indikin was originally launched on PulseChain in early 2025, establishing its filmmaker community, token index mechanics, and streaming infrastructure. In 2026, Indikin is expanding to Ethereum — running both chains simultaneously to unlock institutional investment, broader DeFi liquidity, and a significantly larger addressable ecosystem. The PulseChain ecosystem remains fully active. Existing holders and filmmakers are honoured through an airdrop programme detailed in Section 6.
2 Problems
Funding
For funding, current industry solutions largely orbit around utilising crowdfunding platforms, chasing grants or trying to buddy up with investors, all of which take time and money — often losing filmmakers control over their creative process and even the rights to their own original works.
Distribution
To address distribution challenges filmmakers often look towards film festivals, online platforms and strategic partnerships. While these solutions do address some of the fundamental distribution challenges, just because you are out there doesn’t mean you will be seen. The media landscape or “attention economy” is a highly competitive space; few filmmakers achieve the revenues they need to survive.
Exposure
Exposure is a critical problem, as independent filmmakers often find it difficult to gain visibility within an increasingly crowded and competitive marketplace. Without proper exposure, it can be challenging for independent productions to find their target audience, leaving them struggling to achieve the recognition and success they deserve.
Intellectual Property
In addition to these three major hurdles, those independent filmmakers that do find exposure often lose control of their intellectual property through unfavourable deals born out of confusion, desperation or even manipulation.
3 Solutions
The Indikin solution tackles all four of these major challenges by staying true to the web3 ethos and leveraging ever-evolving user behaviours and infrastructures inherent in the creator economy.
Funding
Funding within the Indikin Ecosystem combines a decentralised multi-token-based “crowdfunding-like” model with a “scholarship-like” grants programme that filmmakers who are able to show a track record of producing long form content and a basic understanding of web3 can join the Indikin ecosystem and access all the collective benefits it delivers.
Each filmmaker must have their own unique filmmaker token, a percentage of which must be deposited into the Indikin Production Fund to activate an official cooperation.
Filmmakers are encouraged to bond their filmmaker token with other Indikin filmmaker tokens and must bond with the native $INDIKIN token. Doing so makes the token part of the Indikin Token Index that together makes up an index of all bonded filmmaker tokens, representative of filmmakers wanting to be an integral partner of the Indikin Ecosystem.
Distribution
Filmmakers will always be free to distribute their productions as they see fit. However, only productions distributed via Indikin’s dedicated native streaming platform can benefit from smart contract managed split revenues. The mechanisms for rewarding token holders, liquidity providers and filmmakers are inherent to the design of the smart contracts that manage value flows from streaming.
Exposure
Exposure for filmmakers and their productions is largely tied to both the filmmaker’s capacity to garner attention to their productions and filmmaker tokens, and for the Indikin ecosystem more broadly to garner attention to the Indikin token index and native token $INDIKIN.
Intellectual Property
In Indikin we have set up strict rules that are similar to traditional industry methods but are designed to benefit the growth and maintenance of the entire Indikin ecosystem and its participants — not a single studio.
Filmmakers that receive Indikin Ecosystem funding support for their productions are obligated to split a portion of revenues generated from their production and associated products with the Indikin Production Fund and production participants. The split revenue percentages are decided by the filmmaker themselves prior to requesting funding support.
4 Industry Data
4.0 Web3 / Film3
While numerous Web3 companies and projects (over 100 in 2023) have attempted to tackle the fundamental problems of the independent film industry, many appear to have failed to attract filmmakers outside of the web3 ecosystem.
The traditional film industry has been slow to adopt Web3 technology, hindering the widespread implementation of new, decentralised distribution models and revenue streams. The current state of Web3 technology also lacks standardised protocols, making it difficult for filmmakers to navigate the landscape and create content compatible with various platforms.
While Indikin is a web3 native infrastructure solution, our primary market going forward will be towards web2 native content creators with ambitions to become filmmakers. We view this as the fastest growing segment to target with our solution going forward.
4.1 Creator Economy
A 2022 study by Linktree found that only 12% of full-time creators earn more than $50,000 annually, and the top 1% capture the majority of revenue. Most creators earn less than $1,000 per year from platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Creators report frequent income drops due to algorithm changes which can slash reach without warning. Lack of ownership is pervasive: creators don’t own their audiences — platforms control access, monetisation, and discoverability.
A study by The Tilt (2023) found that 61% of full-time creators have experienced burnout, citing relentless content demands and unstable income. Despite large followings, many creators struggle to monetise due to low ad revenue rates and limited brand deal access. Patreon revealed that over 90% of its creators earn less than minimum wage from the platform.
4.2 Traditional Entertainment
The creator economy promised independence and open access, but it has fallen short for most participants. While anyone can publish content and build an audience, monetisation remains elusive — over 90% of creators earn little to no income.
In contrast, the traditional entertainment industry offers higher earning potential and established infrastructure but is plagued by gatekeeping, exploitative contracts, and lack of creative control. Studios, labels, and agencies own the intellectual property and reap most of the profits, while artists often struggle for fair compensation and autonomy.
Both systems fail to support the majority of creatives in building sustainable careers. This contrast has sparked a growing push for hybrid or decentralised models that combine audience ownership with fairer value distribution — the gap Indikin is designed to fill.
5 Ecosystem & Tokenomics
The Indikin Ecosystem comprises:
- Indikin Filmmakers & their Films
- The Indikin native token $INDIKIN
- Indikin Filmmaker Tokens
- The Indikin Production Fund
- Indikin Scholarships
- The Indikin Filmmaker Token Index
- Indikin Streaming
5.0 Indikin Filmmakers & their Films
Filmmakers join the ecosystem for several reasons: a supportive environment of fellow creatives, economic self-sustainability, worldwide distribution of their productions, and access to the Indikin Production Fund. In combination, these offerings aim to provide a simple framework for filmmakers to access the talent, capital, audiences and creative resources needed to realise their unique stories on screen.
5.1 $INDIKIN Token — PulseChain (Original)
The original $INDIKIN Token launched on PulseChain on April 4th 2025. It is the native Indikin Ecosystem Token to which all Filmmaker tokens are bonded, forming the Indikin Token Index. The token distributes 1% $PLSX to all holders and provides access to streaming, filmmaker investment, and ancillary ecosystem products.
The $INDIKIN Token is a reflection token charging 1% on each transaction, issuing fees to all token holders in $PLSX contingent on the percentage of $INDIKIN they hold. Token holders do not need to lock assets for a fixed period; rewards accrue almost instantly when a transaction occurs, governed by the smart contract.
- Token Launch Date: April 4th 2025
- Contract Address: 0xC0372486fCab952aA2B7998876d6aa79d4Fc1938

- Rewards: 1% PLSX token on every transaction
- Blockchain: PulseChain
- Allocation: 10% Five Founding Filmmakers / 5% PLS/INDIKIN Pool / 5% PLSX/INDIKIN Pool / 80% Indikin Production Fund
5.2 $INDIKIN Token — Ethereum (2026)
The Ethereum deployment of $INDIKIN is a purpose-built token for a new phase of the ecosystem. It has been redesigned for Ethereum’s DeFi infrastructure, institutional investor expectations, and a broader global audience. It operates independently from the PulseChain token but is aligned in mission.
The treasury holding ~90% of supply is excluded from UNI rewards, maximising APY for circulating holders and signalling long-term alignment to investors. No emissions. No rebasing. Yield scales only with trading volume.
- TGE: Q2 2026 (private invitation)
- Total Supply: 10,000,000 $INDIKIN
- Circulating at TGE: 1,000,000 $INDIKIN (~10%)
- Treasury: ~9,000,000 $INDIKIN (doxed multisig, excluded from rewards)
- Type: ERC-20 tax token
- Transfer Tax: 1% per transaction, paid in UNI to circulating holders
- Launch Venue: DEX-only via Uniswap (INDIKIN/ETH)
- Blockchain: Ethereum Mainnet
5.3 Filmmaker Tokens
In order for a filmmaker to join Indikin they are encouraged to allocate 10% of their token supply to the Indikin Production Fund. These tokens are held with an option to be used for various marketing and operational activities.
Filmmaker tokens can be considered like memecoins or loyalty points — primarily vehicles of communication from the filmmakers to the community and the broader market. They are representative of a filmmaker’s unique style and aim to provide for a longer-lasting connection and growth of the filmmaker’s community and the ecosystem more broadly.
Note: As of Q1 2026 all filmmaker tokens must be PulseChain native tokens to be considered. Ethereum-compatible filmmaker token standards are under development.
5.4 Indikin Production Fund
80% of $INDIKIN (PulseChain) is held in a Production Fund controlled by the five founding filmmakers for further development of the ecosystem, providing Indikin Grants for filmmakers and further development of the film production fund.
The Indikin Production Fund holds filmmaker tokens to further facilitate and support filmmakers and their communities. Once a month, filmmakers are able to pitch the founding filmmakers to cover their production costs. The founding filmmakers decide collectively how and to whom to allocate funds.
The Indikin Production Fund is a Gnosis Safe Multi-Sig wallet. Address: 0x44D8Ca8Ec21399e138b64981E6BF0caCfB746D26
5.5 Indikin Grants
10% of stablecoins accumulated in the Production Fund are distributed equally to filmmakers throughout the month, proportional to the total stabilised value of the Production Fund.
5.6 Indikin Filmmaker Token Index
The Indikin Filmmaker Token Index is an index of all filmmaker tokens bonded with the $INDIKIN token. It is representative of the filmmakers involved in producing under the Indikin label. As with a traditional index fund, investors are able to gain exposure to a growing number of independent filmmakers by holding $INDIKIN.
5.7 Indikin Streaming
Indikin Streaming is the native distribution arm of the Indikin Ecosystem, built using split-revenue-enabled smart contracts. It provides shared revenues from streams of Indikin filmmakers’ productions. Filmmakers are able to share revenues with their token holders, production talent and crew, while also contributing to the Indikin Production Fund to support all Indikin filmmakers.
5.8 Community Growth Burn Mechanism
To align token supply contraction with ecosystem expansion, $INDIKIN implements a filmmaker-triggered burn mechanism on PulseChain. For every 25 verified filmmakers onboarded to the Indikin platform, a burn event is executed on-chain — permanently destroying 0.1% of the total $INDIKIN supply per filmmaker added, meaning each 25-filmmaker milestone results in a 2.5% total supply burn.
This event-driven deflation directly links community growth to scarcity. As the creator base scales, circulating supply decreases, reinforcing long-term holder value. Burns are transparent, verifiable, and governed by real adoption rather than arbitrary schedules.
This mechanism is specific to the PulseChain deployment. Ethereum deflationary mechanics are governed by the 1% transfer tax and treasury exclusion from rewards. Cross-chain burn alignment will be evaluated as the Ethereum ecosystem matures.
6 Expanding to Ethereum
6.0 Why Ethereum
PulseChain served as Indikin’s proving ground — it gave the project a low-cost environment to establish the filmmaker community, test the token index mechanics, seed liquidity pools, and validate the streaming model. That foundation remains intact.
Ethereum unlocks a materially different set of opportunities that PulseChain cannot provide at this stage:
- Access to institutional and angel investors who require Ethereum-native infrastructure
- Eligibility for Ethereum ecosystem grants and DeFi protocol partnerships
- Significantly deeper liquidity and a larger global trading audience via Uniswap
- Greater credibility and discoverability within the broader Web3 ecosystem
- Compatibility with emerging Film3 and creator economy protocols building on Ethereum
The decision to expand to Ethereum is not a departure from Indikin’s founding principles — it is an acceleration of them.
6.1 Both Chains Run in Parallel
Indikin operates both chains simultaneously. The PulseChain ecosystem — including the original $INDIKIN token, the Gnosis Safe Production Fund, all existing filmmaker token bonds, and the liquidity pools on PulseX — remains fully operational and continues to grow. Nothing is being wound down or replaced.
The Ethereum $INDIKIN token is an expansion — a new deployment designed to reach new investors, new audiences, and new ecosystem partners. The two tokens are aligned in mission and brand, operating as independent on-chain instruments each suited to their respective ecosystems.
6.2 PulseChain Holder Recognition
Existing $INDIKIN holders on PulseChain are the foundation of the Indikin community and will be recognised in the Ethereum expansion. A snapshot-based airdrop of Ethereum $INDIKIN tokens will be issued to qualifying PulseChain holders ahead of the Ethereum TGE — a thank you for early belief in the project, not a prompt to leave PulseChain.
Both sets of tokens remain independently valuable. Holders can participate in both ecosystems simultaneously. Full details of the airdrop eligibility criteria, snapshot date, and distribution schedule will be published to the community via Telegram, Discord, and indikin.online in advance of the Q2 2026 TGE.
TBC: Final airdrop ratio and eligibility thresholds are subject to confirmation closer to TGE. This will be communicated transparently and in advance.
6.3 Filmmaker Tokens on Ethereum
Filmmaker tokens are currently PulseChain native. As the Ethereum ecosystem develops, Indikin will introduce an Ethereum-compatible filmmaker token standard, enabling filmmakers to optionally list their tokens on both chains. This will be a filmmaker-led, opt-in process — not a requirement.
Filmmakers who choose to remain solely on PulseChain will continue to receive full Production Fund support, grants, and streaming revenue participation without interruption. Both chains are home.
6.4 What Does Not Change
The following remain unchanged regardless of chain:
- The Indikin mission: filmmaker ownership, decentralised funding, and fair revenue distribution
- The five founding filmmaker governance structure and Production Fund allocation
- The 1% rewards mechanism for $INDIKIN holders (PLSX on PulseChain, UNI on Ethereum)
- The filmmaker onboarding and grant application process
- The burn mechanism tied to filmmaker onboarding milestones (PulseChain)
7 Road Map
In early 2025, 10% of the $INDIKIN supply was distributed equally to the five founding filmmakers. In return, the five founding filmmakers sent 10% of their filmmaker token supply to the Indikin Production Fund.
Shortly after, the first $INDIKIN/$PLS pool was created on PulseX with 5% of the $INDIKIN supply, followed by the first $INDIKIN/$PLSX pool also with 5% of supply.

8 Technology Stack
8.0 PulseChain (2025 — Current)
PulseChain is a layer-1 blockchain whose native token PLS plays a crucial role in supporting interoperability between various blockchain networks. PulseChain is EVM-compatible, using the same programming language (Solidity) and execution environment as Ethereum, allowing developers to port Ethereum-based applications with minimal changes.
PulseChain uses a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm, allowing for faster and more energy-efficient transaction validation. PulseChain token smart contracts manage token supply, ownership, and transfer mechanics including token creation, transfers, ownership enforcement, supply management (minting, burning, distribution), and ERC-20 standards compliance.
8.1 Ethereum (2026 — Expanding)
Ethereum is the world’s leading programmable blockchain and the home of the majority of institutional-grade DeFi infrastructure. The Ethereum $INDIKIN token is an ERC-20 standard contract deployed on Ethereum mainnet, leveraging the following infrastructure:
- Uniswap V3 — primary DEX for INDIKIN/ETH liquidity and trading
- Gnosis Safe — multisig treasury management for the Ethereum deployment
- ERC-20 transfer tax mechanism — 1% per transaction routed to UNI rewards for circulating holders
- On-chain index composition with governance-led periodic rebalancing
Ethereum’s Proof of Stake consensus (post-Merge) provides energy-efficient validation with a global validator network, offering significantly greater decentralisation and security guarantees than most alternative L1s.
8.2 Shared Infrastructure
Both chain deployments share the following infrastructure principles:
- Non-custodial: Indikin never holds user funds or controls user wallets
- DEX-only token acquisition: no Indikin-operated fiat on-ramp or centralised exchange listing
- Multisig treasury: all significant fund movements require multiple authorised signers
- Smart contract-managed revenue splits for streaming and production fund contributions
9 Community Benefits
As Indikin filmmakers we think of our audiences and fans as part of our team. In web3 we’re able to strengthen those relationships, scale them, and introduce an automated sharing economy that helps bring all members of our individual communities together to unite and take part under a unified mission — defend the Arts by sharing in the sustainability and growth of independent storytelling.
Each filmmaker, through their own filmmaker token and their audience, is encouraged to engage their community in fun ways that add value to the Indikin Ecosystem. Indikin will support a filmmaker’s initiative, advising and cooperating on strategies wherever possible when benefits are shared amongst ecosystem participants.
The top 50 holders of a filmmaker’s token can earn streaming revenues from their productions, allocate 10% of streaming revenues into the Indikin Production Fund, and pay to watch Indikin filmmaker productions in filmmaker tokens or $INDIKIN.
While each filmmaker token and its associated benefits to holders are unique, $INDIKIN holders always collect rewards on all swaps and transfers:
- PulseChain: 1% $PLSX rewards on every transaction
- Ethereum: 1% UNI rewards on every transaction (circulating holders only)
For each new filmmaker that joins Indikin, 0.1% of the $INDIKIN supply is burned at every 25-filmmaker milestone. As the ecosystem grows, $PLSX rewards held by the Production Fund may also be subject to a quarterly burn schedule.
10 Industry Risks
Bots — specifically decentralised finance (DeFi) bots — extract value from liquidity pools by using various strategies to capitalise on price discrepancies, arbitrage opportunities, and other market inefficiencies. Key mechanisms include:
- Monitoring liquidity pools continuously for price discrepancies across exchanges
- Arbitrage trading — buying at lower prices and selling at higher prices across platforms
- Liquidity pool farming — providing liquidity to earn fees and tokens
- Yield farming — compounding rewards across multiple pools
- Market making — providing liquidity and earning the spread between buy and sell prices
When providing liquidity to pools, there are several additional risks to consider:
- Impermanent loss — price fluctuations can temporarily decrease the value of liquidity provision
- Price slippage — asset prices may change before liquidity is removed
- Flash loans — uncollateralised DeFi loans that can be used to manipulate pools
- Front-running — traders using advance information to execute ahead of others
- Smart contract vulnerabilities — contracts may contain exploitable code
- Protocol risks — changes to underlying protocols may affect liquidity value
- Liquidity concentration — pools concentrated in few assets are more vulnerable to manipulation
- Withdrawal delays — assets may be temporarily locked during high-volatility periods
To mitigate these risks, it is essential to carefully assess the DeFi protocol, its governance, and the liquidity pool’s design before providing liquidity. Diversification and close monitoring of market conditions are also recommended.
