Tokenomics
What is $INDIKIN?
$INDIKIN is the native Indikin Ecosystem Token. All Filmmaker tokens are bonded to it, which makes up the Indikin Token Index.
What are Filmmaker Tokens?
Filmmaker tokens are unique tokens created by individual filmmakers within the Indikin ecosystem. 10% of each Filmmaker's token supply is allocated to the Indikin Production Fund.
What is the Indikin Production Fund?
80% of the $INDIKIN supply is held in the Production Fund, used for ecosystem development, Indikin Grants, and further development of the film production fund.
What are Indikin Grants?
10% of the $INDIKIN in the Production Fund is distributed equally to filmmakers throughout the month.
What is the Indikin Filmmaker Token Index?
It is an index of all Filmmaker tokens that are bonded with the $INDIKIN token, representing the filmmakers producing under the Indikin label.
What are the rewards for holding $INDIKIN?
$INDIKIN token holders receive 1% $PLSX rewards on all swaps and transfers.
Funding and Distribution
How does funding work within Indikin?
Funding combines a decentralized multi-token-based model with a "basic-income-like" grants program. Filmmakers create their own tokens and contribute a percentage to the Indikin Production Fund.
How does Indikin address distribution challenges?
Productions distributed via Indikin dedicated partner platforms and/or the native Indikin streaming platform (indikin.stream) can benefit from shared revenues.
What is Indikin Streaming?
Indikin Streaming (indikin.stream) is the native distribution arm of the Indikin Ecosystem, using split revenue enabled smart contracts for shared revenues from filmmakers' productions.
